Achilles' Wings: Companion Cavalry – Conqueror's Blade T4 cavalry unit

Overview

Macedonian horsemen that charge hard and can then stay in the melee. The catch: they want to be near you. Within 30m of your hero they move faster, take less damage and recover better.

Strengths

Sworn Guard near the hero: faster, tougher, better recovery
Gale Strike: heavy spear charge
Storm Pound: leap with knockdown, then 20s of sword melee
Zephyr Blade protects the hero
Conquest doubles Sworn Guard everywhere for 18s

Weaknesses

Has to stay close to your hero
Less burst than pure charge cavalry
Does many things well, none of them best
Only as good as your hero's positioning

How to Play

Stay within 30m of them. Further away the Sworn Guard buff is gone.
Gale Strike to open with the spear charge.
Storm Pound to knock down and switch to swords for 20 seconds.
Zephyr Blade when you're in trouble. They cover you and fall back towards you.
Conquest for the big push: more hero damage and speed, and Sworn Guard doubled across the whole battlefield for 18 seconds.
Good on a flank with Storm Pound into the back line, and good at getting your hero out alive.
Compared with Khevtuul: Companions are better up close, Khevtuul at range and on the move.
