Empire Chariot – Conqueror's Blade T5 cavalry unit

Overview

A fast disruption unit you drive yourself. It doesn't take normal orders. You charge into a fight that's already running and chain knockdowns. One rule above all: play it with Longsword, so you survive being dismounted and get back on.

Strengths

  • Knockdowns that scatter whole formations
  • Two to four chariots together are very hard to stop
  • Fast enough to flank, reposition and escape
  • Forces the enemy to hold their dismount skills
  • Bottom line: flat damage reduction and passive healing

Weaknesses

  • Pike right-click, Shortsword ult and Poleaxe ult take you off instantly
  • A single chariot gets focused and killed
  • Braced pikes shut the charge down completely
  • Bad timing means instant death
  • Without Longsword a dismount kills you

How to Play

  • Equip Longsword at the start, or swap at the supply point when you take the chariot. You WILL get dismounted, and Longsword keeps you alive.
  • Longsword heals a share of max HP, and the chariot gives you the most HP in the game.
  • Never go in without speed.
  • Charge 5 to 15 seconds after the fight has started. Too early and everyone shoots you, too late and it's over.
  • Best moment: right after the enemy has used a dismount on someone else (Pike right-click, Shortsword ult, Poleaxe ult).
  • Come from the side or behind. Head-on into pikes is death.
  • Ride an arc around the edge of the fight. Don't drive straight through and get stuck.
  • Fake a charge and turn away to bait their dismounts.
  • Dismounted: heal, use the Longsword ult for CC immunity and space, speed buff, get back on. Low HP, leave.
  • Stagger charges with other chariots so the knockdowns never stop.
