Overview
Heroic polearm infantry from the Wars of the Roses season. 220 leadership. They counter cavalry in Brace stance and hit fast-moving enemies very hard.
Strengths
- Huge anti-cavalry damage in Brace
- Thornwall heals and deals area damage
- Two stances for two jobs
Weaknesses
- Low DPS and survivability
- No anti-CC
How to Play
- Rooted (2s): crouch into Brace. They can't turn, but fast-moving enemies take massive damage. Press again for Thornwall: they can turn again, with less bonus damage.
- Thorns (27s, lasts 7s): depends on the stance. Standing: the next attack hits much harder. Brace: Iron Thorns against cavalry is doubled and hits one more target. Thornwall: Blood Rose healing is doubled and a forward thrust deals area damage.
- Cavalry coming? Rooted before the charge, then Thorns while braced.
- Against infantry, switch to Thornwall and heal through Blood Rose.
- Echelon formation to hold a flank and blunt a charge.
